Inspiring Tomorrow’s Singers
The Rodolfus Foundation is a charity committed to choral singing education. We run residential choral singing courses for children and young people: the Junior Courses are for children aged 8-15 and the Senior Choral Courses for young people aged 16-21. The courses are open to all and we operate a generous financial assistance.
We have a number of partnerships with musical and choral organisations working with children and young people, and are able to offer their students bursaries to our choral courses through this partnerships and also to anyone wishing to apply. Around one third of students attending a course receive financial support.
An extension of the choral courses is the Rodolfus Choir, an auditioned youth choir that performs at major venues and records CDs. The Choir offers young people professional experiences and helps many at the start of their musical careers.
We also have a number of grassroots initiatives, or Choral Academies, in Lambeth and Southwark, offering offering weekly choral singing lessons in two primary schools and regular performing opportunities.
Our ambition is to share the joy of choral music with as many young people as possible, inspiring the broadest possible audience. We educate and support young singers to experience the excitement of musical teamwork.
