Virtual Evensong

The Rodolfus Foundation’s Virtual Choral Evensong was conceived by our Artistic Director, Ralph Allwood as a service of thanksgiving and unity in a time of crisis. It is also a fundraiser for the Cathedral Choirs’ Emergency Fund and the Rodolfus Foundation’s Emergency Fund. Scroll down to watch the full service, and for details of how to make a donation.

The Rodolfus Foundation runs residential singing courses, a youth choir and partnerships with local choirs to encourage young people from all backgrounds to sing to a high standard. Having cancelled this year’s activities, we are creating online opportunities to keep everyone singing. Please give anything you can to support our work, and help us keep going through the crisis so we can continue offering high quality singing education to the next generation.

We are really excited to be in the planning stages of our 2021 Choral Courses. We will be opening applications very soon, and we would love to see you on one of our courses next year! If you love singing and are between the age of 8 and 22, or know someone who is, visit our Choral Courses page to find out more. You can also join our mailing list to hear how to register as soon as we launch!

Our Virtual Evensong has currently been viewed almost 40,000 times. If you’d like to find out more about the service and how it was developed, click here to see the journey from our initial first glimpse to the final service with over 250 singers!
